3. Services and content

This website provides information about our company and about our services and products in the areas of cybersecurity consulting, technical security solutions and AI security. The content is provided for general information purposes. It does not constitute legally binding advice and does not, by itself, create a contractual relationship. Any consulting or service contract is concluded solely on the basis of a separate written agreement.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the content current and accurate. However, we do not warrant its completeness, accuracy or timeliness. We reserve the right to change, supplement or discontinue the offering at any time.

4. Copyright and usage rights

All content on this website – in particular texts, graphics, images, videos, logos and the layout – is protected by copyright and is the property of Blackfort or the respective rights holders. Any reproduction, modification, distribution or other use beyond the limits permitted by law requires our prior written consent. Downloading and printing for private, non-commercial use is permitted.

  • the automated, systematic extraction of content (scraping) without our express permission;
  • the misuse of contact forms or other input options for unsolicited advertising or unlawful purposes.

6. Automated publishing of our own content via third-party APIs

To publish our own professional content (e.g. videos accompanying our Insights articles) we operate an automated process that accesses third-party application programming interfaces (APIs), including the YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API v3). This process manages and publishes our own channel content only, within accounts we control. It is not directed at users of this website and does not process personal data of third parties via the third-party platform.

Use of the YouTube API Services is additionally subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. How we handle these APIs is described in our privacy policy.

7. Liability

We accept unlimited liability for damages arising from injury to life, body or health and for damages based on intent or gross negligence. In the case of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for such contracts. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

We accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of the general information provided on this website without separate advice. The above limitations of liability do not apply where mandatory statutory provisions require otherwise.

8. External links

Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for such external content. No unlawful content was apparent at the time the links were created. If we become aware of any legal infringements, we will remove the relevant links without delay.

9. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms of use at any time with effect for the future, for example in the event of changes to our offering or the legal situation. The version published at the time of access applies to your use of the website. Please review this page from time to time.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the use of this website is Bonn, Germany. Mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected.
